Another Perspective

Having moved on
The views change
Another perspective
Not skewered
But clear as day
And as the world turns
So we see
A new way of looking at things
With humour
With childlike delight
With tempered sight
Garnering fresh meaning
From Life’s plight
Of moulding us humans
Into what we would be not
Unless such vision
Had been our lot
Choices over
We reap our fruit
Of Wisdom or Pain
Of Love or Death
Or Financial Success
The Eyes once eager
Now receive
The longed-for riches
Of perfetness
And grateful solace
With blissful looks
And satedness
